Heat Pump Services in Metairie, LA

Lightning Service Inc provides repair, installation, and heat pump replacement for systems that stop cooling, lose efficiency, or struggle in high humidity.

An air-source heat pump must manage both comfort and moisture control, making proper service more important in South Louisiana than in milder climates. If your system is noisy, running constantly, or failing to keep temperatures stable, our team can respond with standard appointments, emergency HVAC repair, and after-hours AC repair support when conditions don’t allow waiting.

FAQ

How do I know if my heat pump needs repair?

If it’s not heating or cooling properly, running constantly, making strange noises, or your energy bills suddenly spike, something could be off.

How long do heat pumps last?

Most last around 10–15 years with proper maintenance.

Are heat pumps energy efficient?

Yes. They can be one of the most efficient ways to heat and cool a home.

What size heat pump do I need?

It depends on your home size, insulation, and layout. Oversized or undersized systems cause problems, so it needs to be calculated.

Do you also service traditional air conditioning systems?

Yes. We service both heat pumps and central AC systems. If your home uses a traditional air conditioner, we can help with repairs, installation & replacement, and preventative maintenance to keep it running properly.
